Every project Mondo Novo takes on, authored or commissioned, hybrid or full AI, a short film or an event installation, carries a cultural sensibility that shapes the work before a single frame is generated.
Research comes first. Visual identity, narrative direction, historical grounding: these are not finishing touches. They are the foundation that keeps generative work from becoming generic.

Mondo Novo was founded in 2023 by Carlo De Togni, filmmaker, creative technologist, and former Experiential Design Lead at AKQA/WPP, where he spent thirteen years working at the intersection of brand storytelling, emerging technology and large-scale experience design.
The studio's film work has screened at international festivals across three continents, with selections at Academy Award-qualifying festivals and coverage in Forbes and Le Figaro.
Carlo holds Creative Partner status at Runway and Kling AI, two of the leading generative video platforms, and is listed with Trentino Film Commission as an eligible production partner for regional projects.
Projects are realized through a core directorial practice supported by a selected network of specialists activated as each project requires, in sound design, on-site experiential technology, IoT integration and live production.
